All-City Band performed yesterday at Century II‘s Concert Hall and 25 North students participated. “They did very well, you could look out at both the 9^th-10^th grade and 11-12^th bands and you could spot exactly who were the North High kids because they sat with confidence, they had their instrument’s up high, had good posture and they played really well,” said Stephanie Byers the Band Director. “It felt bittersweet to perform at All-City last night because since I’m a senior that was the last time I got to perform at Century II and I felt like it was really nice because after 3 years of participating in it, it felt like a good last performance,” said senior Fernanda Alonso.

All-City Orchestra is also performing tonight at Century II’s Concert Hall at 7pm. “I think Orchestra is going to do very well. We entered 10 kids into the All-City Orchestra and all 10 got in so I’m very happy with that,” said Byers.

All-City Orchestra is performing tonight at 7pm at Century II’s Concert Hall and admission is free.
