Today students had the opportunity to wear a hat while making a difference in their community. The annual Turkey Drive partnered with the Redskin Involvement Team to make Hat Day possible.
Students paid $2 to get a sticker put on their IDs that allowed them to wear a hat all day. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to  families in the area who are in need of food for Thanksgiving.
According to RIT Sponsor Kim Hewitt, they raised about $100, which means 50 students are participating in Hat Day.
