At the end of February from the 22nd to the 25th the 6A KSHAA State Wrestling Tournament was held at Hartman Arena where North had 11 wrestlers present, 6 from the girls side and 5 from the boys.

The girl’s tournament took place from the 22nd to the 23rd, and had 4 state placers, those being:

Larissa Garcia – 5th place in 110 lbs

Xitlaly Meraz – 4th place in 115 lbs

Diana Urista – 4th place in 130 lbs

Jaycee Tyler – 3rd place in 140 lbs

The boy’s tournament took place from the 24th to the 25th and had 1 state placer:

Richard Shields – 5th place in 120 lbs
