Ms. Davidson and her concert choir earned all 1’s at state, which is the highest ranking they can earn. This was the first time they have gotten this opportunity to compete at state in a while because of Covid.

“This whole year has been leading to this event, and we haven’t done it since 2019 so it was super nerve racking,” said the choir teacher, Amy Davidson.

Ms. Davidson was really passionate and proud of herself and her students.

“They were super successful and to me it was a really great day, it was emotional for me and I think it was emotional for some of them too,” Davidson shared.

She truly enjoyed how well her students did during the trip.

“My favorite part of the trip was just feeling so proud of them and everything that they have had to fight through to get that accomplishment.”

The choir received plaques for doing so well at state.

“Watching them see the plaques for the first time was really sweet,” Davidson said.
