This year, North High’s Thespian Troupe is organizing a food drive. They are collecting canned foods and non-perishable items and donating them to the Kansas Food Bank.

The Thespian Troupe has also passed out flyers to the residents of College Hill to inform them of the drive. The troupe is going to College Hill to collect donations on October 29th at 5:00 pm.

The boxes for donations will be in front of the desk in the library, and in front of Mr. Norfleet’s room at C102. As of now, there hasn’t been many donations so if you would like to help, you can donate any number of canned goods or non-perishables.

The reason why the Thespian Troupe is doing this again this year is for volunteerism and they want to be active members of the community. The food drive is intended to help kids who don’t have easy access to foods, and drives like these are able to make a positive impact on that struggle.
