BoxLunch is now open at Towne East Mall!

This company is a civic-minded specialty retailer offering a curated collection of both licensed and non-licensed merchandise. Steve Vranes is the CEO of BoxLunch and sister store Hot Topic. The company was started in 2015, in Los Angeles, California and Steve took the CEO position in 2016.

Walking in, you’re immediately met with the store neatly sectioned off into different fan favorites. So if you’re a fan of anime, you can immediately tell where their anime merchandise is located and so on.

My first impression of this store was “This is so cool, all of my money will go here.”

Their merchandise ranges from TV shows like Avatar the Last Airbender to new movies like Marvel’s Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. They have all sorts of collectible items like t-shirts, coffee mugs, keychains, bags, and lapel pins. The first thing I bought from there was a keychain with a ball attached, inside the ball is a pink bear resting on a cloud of pink slime surrounded by water, sparkly stars, and pearls. I saw him and immediately fell in love, he is hours of entertainment since it’s impossible to flip him over.
