Last Friday, the girls basketball started their season with a different feeling, winning.  North defeated West 32-15 at North. The JV score was 33-24.

Head coach Michael Bailey said, “I feel that the team did what they expected to do in the win. We know that we have plenty of room for improvement to get where we wan

t to be.” North is no longer at the bottom. The girls defense only held West to score 2 points in the second half. Guadalupe Urbina-Montes led North in scoring with 12 points and AmUnique Cavitt added 11.

North is back in action tonight against Kapuan.
