Senior Project nearing

Kassi Mendez and Seleste Montanez, reporter & writer

The day is finally coming for the Seniors, the day that will determine whether they will walk the stage or not. Senior Project is a North High tradition where the seniors will present a trifold, portfolio and a speech over a career exploration, college exploration, community service, or an interest based subject.

“I don’t really like senior project because most of the topics seniors are doing their projects are over won’t apply to their lives in the future,” Senior Sage Erwin said.

“Some advice I can give to future seniors is to not procrastinate, and turn things in on time,” Senior Shaylyn Smith said.

Advice for seniors are to look back on your checklist, get all your hours and times (visits) with your mentor as well as preparing your speech that will last 5-7 minutes.

Open house is on April 11th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Presentation start on Monday, April 16th from 12:40pm-3:20 p.m., Wednesday, April 18th 4:00-5:40 p.m., and Saturday, April 21st from 9:40-11:40 a.m.
