As the North High Softball team prepares for the 2018 season, the team welcomes two new coaches. First off is coach Tony Douglas who says he doesn’t know much about North and he’s ready to see what the softball girls will show him this softball season. He also has coached softball for eight years, and is an English teacher at North. Another new face is Coach Danielle Haynes who is also a p.e teacher at North. Despite never having coached softball, she is ready to give the Redskins team a chance to teach her. “I expect the girls to work hard and put their best efforts forth,” Douglas said. The team has  four seniors but many returning players who are on the team. The first varsity softball game will be March 29th 5 p.m and will take place at TRYC 5.
