Softball season has started and it looks like they are in the run for a successful season. The head coach for varsity this year is Julie Huffmier, her assistant is Caitlin Savage, and the junior varsity coach is Carla Park. They are all looking forward to a great season. “It looks like it will be a positive season,” Park said. “There are a lot of freshman that came to try-outs with good attitudes. They look like they want to win and be a part of the team.” Park said. This will be a strong year and a great learning season for all of the girls. Many of the players from last season are returning. Hayley Johnson a returning senior for varsity stated “I feel like we’re going to have a great season.” And Michaela Bryan another returning senior said that she’s hoping for a fun season. The first game will be a double header on March 30 at 5 PM at the TYRC #3.
