State Bowling

Devon Urbano recently went to the bowling state championship. He’s been on the bowling team for two years and this year qualified for state. Both he and his coach feel he could have done better. “I think I wasn’t doing my best because I had a lot of nerves going because it was my first year,” Urbano said. “I think if I go next year I’ll do a lot better.” Head Coach Mike Long said “I know Devon could have done better, I think he was just nervous because it was the first time he’s been but next year hopefully he’ll do better.” Next year Mr. Long wants the boys and girls teams to qualify. “It’s more fun when the whole team is there and maybe less nerve wracking too because you have all your teammates to support you. What’s important for Devon this year was the experience so he knows what to expect next year.” Now that Urbano has had experience and knows he could have done better he’s excited for next year, and he hopes to improve. “ I don’t wanna say I’m the best on the team because I’m not. I just have good days sometimes.”
