The boys basketball team captured the No. 2 seed for this years sub-state. After finishing the regular season strong with three straight wins (West, Southeast, and Northwest) the Redskins look to stay hot and capture a state berth. North will face the No. 7 seed Dodge City who has lost their last 5 games in a row.

Head Coach Gary Squires has nothing but praise for the way his team has been playing these last few games. “We have really came together and playing as a team and playing unselfish basketball. Our defense has came up strong and we have also been strong on the boards.”

The leading scorer for North, Peyton Hatter has been averaging 20 points during this 3 game winning streak.  Coach Squires is enjoying the way his Junior forward is playing.

“Peyton has really stepped up a lot for us, he is playing good defense, shooting the ball well and he is really putting it all together.”

The game against Dodge City is scheduled to tip off at North at 6 PM on Wednesday night.
