Boys Basketball Searching for Offense

After a strong showing in Dodge City, finishing in third place, having a couple players make the all-tournament team, and having Coach Squires win the Coaching Sportsmanship award, the Redskins have lost two straight. Where has that team gone?

The ‘Skins have lost their last two games at home while not even cracking more then 30 points in either contest. Losing the 5th leading scorer in the city-league (Kace Vongsakda) doesn’t help.

In last nights loss to East, there was only 5 points on the scoreboard for North at halftime, and only 18  points when the final buzzer sounded.

“We just couldn’t make any free-throws, couldn’t make any of our shots. We just aren’t playing good basketball right now.” said Coach Squires.

The boys will look to get back on track on Friday at South High. Game time is at 7:00
