This years boys basketball has started off hot beating Bishop Carroll 46-39, and then coming back to knock off East (the #4th ranked team in Class 6A) 54-45. Head Coach Gary Squires had much praise for the way his team has started off the season.
“We are all very excited. Im proud of how tough we are playing and we always knew we had the potential to start off hot.”
The Redskins were picked to finish 8th out of 9 teams this year in the city league standings but sit comfortably in first place.

“Rebounding and Defense has been huge for us. With Jonah and Brigham down low thats 6’8 and 6’7 down there causing problems for other teams.”

Juniors Peyton Hatter and Kace Vongsakda have been leading the offense this year. Hatter is averaging 18 points a game and Vongsakda is averaging 13 points.

The Skins are back in action on Friday here at North against South starting at 7. The theme for the game is a blackout.

North also plays Saturday against West starting at 5 with a theme being Christmas.
