Senior, Jonathan Renteria and Junior Alejandro Orona were named to the Wichita Eagle’s All Metro Team. Both were honored to be named. “It feels like an award for all your hard work” Renteria said. His motivation is his father because he always wanted him to be the best he can be, and this is a accomplishment for him. “a couple players not just one” is what Renteria said when he was asked about how does it feel to play with one of his teammates from North Soccer. They are both excited that they both made it together. Orona’s thoughts were full of his teammates and not wanting to let them down. The fact that colleges are looking at him makes it more special for him. One of his goals is to make it next year, for his senior year. Orona was overwhelmed with the fact that he made his coach proud.
